Combino estetica del frammento e sincronicità, trovo il pezzo giusto al momento giusto, come riflesso della volontà piuttosto che come caso. Lavoro per serie. Dopo una prima elaborazione digitale passo alla stampa con torchio su carta o tela. Non disegno ex-novo, ma seleziono, nell’ archivio del web, quelli tra gli oggetti esistenti che meglio si prestano all’utilizzo e alla modifica secondo la mia intenzione. Il secondo passaggio è associarli tra loro. L’appropriazione è quindi il primo stadio della mia produzione, il mio metodo elaborativo, cognitivo e tecnico. Nel momento in cui entro in rete trovare ciò che cerco significa non cercare il significato, ma cercare l’uso che intendo farne. Questo genera una ricerca che è creativa nell’individuare i pezzi mancanti di un puzzle immaginato.
My method combines the aesthetics of the fragment and syncronicity, like when we find the right piece at the right moment, more as if in a rephlex of the will instead of a random, casual episode. I work by series. After a first digital processing step I operate a second pass executed under the printing press on paper or canvas. The very first part of the process involves the research and finding of any image found on the web similar even just as a remainder to what I am trying to imagine, or just a detail of it. I do not draw from scratch, but I select in the indefinite web archive, which between the existing objects better fit for the use and the elaboration of my first intention. The second passage involves the conjugation of these elements through a physical print that I present to the viewer as the result of the creative research of my imagined puzzle.
